Privacy Policy

Overview

Lineup by Happy Teams is run by Happy Teams LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what we collect when you use Lineup, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and password. Passwords are stored securely and never in plain text.
• Your answers: what you share about your agency, such as team size, revenue range, the services you sell, and the roles on your team. Lineup asks about seats and roles, never named people. Pay ranges are optional.
• Your reports and progress: the reports Lineup writes for you, and what you check off or fill in inside them.
• Billing information: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription references, your price, your renewal date, and whether your account is a Founding account.
• Basic technical information: sign-in cookies and similar details needed to keep the service secure and working. While you answer a chapter, your answers are also kept in your own browser until the chapter is saved.

How we use it

• To write your reports and keep your progress.
• To run your account, process payments, and send account emails, such as password codes and renewal reminders.
• To keep Lineup secure and prevent misuse.
• To understand, in aggregate, what agencies are facing. We look at anonymous themes across reports. Your specific answers, your business, and your people are never shared. You can turn this off anytime on your Account page.

AI and your answers

Lineup uses Google’s Gemini AI to write your reports. Your answers are sent to it for that purpose only. We do not train AI models on your answers or your reports.

Please don’t include people’s names or your clients’ confidential information in your answers. Lineup is built to work from roles and seats.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the providers needed to run Lineup: Google (AI-written reports), Stripe (payments), Resend (account emails), Supabase (our database), and Vercel (website hosting). Each is bound by its own confidentiality and security commitments.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, answers, and reports for as long as your account exists, so your past reports stay readable even after your paid year ends.

When you delete your account from the Account page, your account, answers, reports, and progress are deleted right away. We do not hold onto any of it, and it can’t be recovered. Copies in our routine database backups are erased as those backups expire, within 7 days. Stripe keeps its own payment records, as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

• Turn off anonymous themes on your Account page.
• Delete your account and everything in it on your Account page.
• Ask for a copy of your data, or for a correction, by emailing hello@happyteams.net. We respond within 30 days.

Security

We use industry-standard practices: encrypted passwords, HTTPS-only connections, and database rules that limit every account to its own data. No method of storage is 100% secure, and we keep working to protect your information.
