Who we are

Lineup by Happy Teams is a planning tool for agency owners and leaders, run by Happy Teams LLC (“Happy Teams,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using Lineup, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Lineup.

Who can use Lineup

Lineup is for adults (18 or older) using it for their work. One person per account. Please keep your sign-in details to yourself.

What Lineup is, and what it is not

Lineup turns your answers into a plan for your services, your team’s seats, and the conversations ahead. It is a decision-support tool. It is not legal, HR, employment, tax, or financial advice.

Lineup uses AI, and AI can be wrong or incomplete. You make the final call on every decision. Lineup looks at seats and roles, never at individual people, and it never recommends letting a specific person go. For any decision about someone’s employment, involve HR or an employment attorney.

Your content

• Your answers and reports are yours.
• You give us permission to process them only as needed to run Lineup for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. That includes sending your answers to our AI provider to write your reports.
• Please don’t enter anything you aren’t allowed to share, such as people’s names or a client’s confidential information.

Price, renewal, and billing

• Lineup costs $375 for one year of unlimited use, paid through Stripe when you unlock your full report. Taxes may apply.
• Your year renews automatically at the same price unless you turn renewal off. We email you 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before each renewal.
• You can turn renewal off, update your card, and see receipts anytime from Billing on your Account page. Turning renewal off takes effect at the end of your paid year, and you keep full access until then.
• Founding accounts (the first 25 paid accounts) keep their price for as long as they stay. For everyone else, we’ll give notice before any price change applies to a renewal.
• After your paid year ends without renewal, your past reports stay readable. Running a new report needs an active year.
• To keep things running well for everyone, each account can start up to three new reports a day.

Our refund promise

If your report doesn’t give you a clearer next step, I’ll refund you. Request a refund within 60 days of your payment, from your Account page or by emailing hello@happyteams.net. We review each request and reply by email. After 60 days, you can still cancel anytime: turn renewal off in Billing, and you won’t be charged again.

Using Lineup responsibly

Please don’t use Lineup to break the law, to harm or discriminate against anyone, to try to reach other people’s data, or to resell or copy the service.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Lineup running and improving, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or retire features, and we’ll try to give notice of changes that matter to you.

Disclaimers

Lineup is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we don’t promise particular business results, and we disclaim implied warranties, including that reports will be accurate, complete, or suited to a particular situation.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Happy Teams is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business or employment decisions that follow from using Lineup. Our total liability for any claim relating to Lineup is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law permits.

Ending your use

You can stop using Lineup and delete your account anytime from your Account page. Once an account is deleted, its information can’t be recovered, and we don’t hold onto it. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if continuing would put people or the service at risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll let you know by email. Using Lineup after a change means you accept the updated terms.
